Why should learn meditation?

As human beings, we are receiving information from the external world, process it internally, and express our inner world. Each and every action, emotion, and thoughts/ideas are the reflections of our inner world. We are very familiar with the external world as our attention is turned outwards. However, we are not so familiar with our inner world. Therefore sometimes our emotions, reactions, and uncontrollable ideas surprise us. We create our external life from the output of our internal world. Such as desires, preferences, ideas, wants/not wants, etc. However, as we are not familiar with, nor in control of, our internal world; we end up making decisions, or attracting people and events that harm us. We find that we can not control our emotions, mind, and actions sometimes.

In order to be in total control of your external world/life, you need to know and control your inner world.

How Meditation can give you a quieter mind

Through meditation, you learn to turn your attention from outwards toward inward. Your biggest obstacle in this process is your mind. Your mind has been actively working and trying to find solutions to life issues and turning your attention outwards. This never-ending process creates mental exhaustion and unclarity. When you overcome the urge of constant thinking you take the first step toward your inner world where you can find a still mind and calmness. From this state of calmness you first start relaxing and charging yourself and then you can discover your real self, your potential, and the direction you should be heading in your life. Still, the mind will bring you mindfulness and deeper awareness.

Stopping the mind is not a difficult process and can be done by anybody. With Still Mind Meditation you will learn how easy to stop your mind and find inner calm.
